The Turton Method.
A calm, terrain-led approach to healing
Developed by Sarah Turton, Master Herbalist & Iridologist
The Turton Method™ is a clear, nature-led way of understanding your health through patterns — not diagnoses.
It brings together herbal medicine, iridology, emotional terrain, tissue states and seasonal rhythm into a simple, grounded clinical approach.
Many people arrive overwhelmed, confused by symptoms, or unsure where to begin.
The Turton Method™ offers clarity: a steady, humane pace, and a practical way to support the whole person.
It is not fast.
It is not forceful.
It is not prescriptive.
It is a method that meets you where you are — gently.
Why I Created The Turton Method™
After years of clinical practice, I saw the same things again and again:
clients burnt out from trying everything
symptoms treated without understanding why they were happening
emotional patterns overlooked
constitutions ignored
the pace of healing pushed too hard
complexity added when simplicity was needed
nature’s rhythms forgotten
I created The Turton Method™ to offer something steadier, kinder and more effective:
A clear, structured way of understanding the whole terrain — physical, emotional and constitutional — and supporting it with plant medicine and nature-led steps.
What The Turton Method™ Is
A gentle, pattern-based approach to healing that brings together:
1. Constitution & Terrain
Your natural blueprint — how your body responds to stress, nourishment, season and life experience.
2. Iridology
A visual map showing tendencies, resilience, held patterns and areas needing support.
3. Tissue States & Energetics
Understanding cold, heat, tension, depletion, dryness or dampness in the system — without pathology or fear.
4. Emotional Terrain
How past and present stress shape the body’s rhythms, boundaries and resilience.
5. Herbal Medicine
Simple, targeted plant support chosen for your unique pace, constitution and season.
6. Sequence of Healing
Knowing what to support first, so your system can move into repair calmly and without overwhelm.
7. Nature-Led Rhythm
Aligning your healing with seasonal cycles, breath, warmth, light, movement and the natural world.
The Turton Method™ brings these elements together in a way that feels gentle, wise and deeply human.
What The Turton Method™ Is Not
not medical diagnosis
not functional medicine testing
not a supplement-heavy protocol
not rapid, aggressive “fixing”
not a one-size-fits-all plan
not a guarantee of outcomes
not a replacement for your GP or specialist
It is a guided, nature-centred approach that supports the body to do what it wants to do:
move back toward balance.
**How It Works in Practice
(Without revealing the method itself)**
A session using the Turton Method™ might explore:
where you’re holding tension
where you’re depleted
how your nervous system is speaking
what your digestion or circulation may be asking for
where emotional patterns have left an imprint
what the season is calling for
which herbs will support your terrain most gently
Everything is interpretive and compassionate — never forceful.
The details of the method remain proprietary and protected.
What matters to you is the feeling of clarity, pace and direction it brings.

Join the Waiting List
Gentle, seasonal openings for new clients
I work slowly, deeply and in rhythm with nature.
Because of this, I open limited spaces for new clients throughout the year.
This ensures that every person I work with receives the calm, attentive and personalised care they deserve.
If you would like to be considered for the next intake, you are welcome to join the waiting list below.
This does not commit you to anything.
It simply lets me know that you’re interested, and ensures you are among the first to hear when spaces open.
Why a Waiting List?
I work in-depth rather than in volume
Herbal and terrain-based support takes time and presence
I only take clients when I have full capacity to hold their work
Your care is never rushed or fitted into a busy clinic model
This honours both your body and the philosophy of The Turton Method™
Joining the waiting list means you’ll receive:
early notification when new spaces open
the option to book a discovery call
priority access to programmes and seasonal offerings
Who the Waiting List Is For
You’re welcome to join if you:
feel overwhelmed, burnt out or unsure where to begin
want gentle, nature-led support
prefer depth and clarity over quick fixes
value emotional understanding alongside physical care
resonate with herbal medicine, iridology and terrain-based work
If you need urgent or diagnostic medical support, please contact your GP before joining.
What Happens Next
After you join the waiting list:
You’ll receive a short email confirming your place
When a new intake opens, you will be contacted directly
If appropriate, you’ll be offered a short discovery call
Together, we will decide whether this is the right fit and the right timing for you
There is no pressure and no obligation..
