About the workshop
As autumn deepens into winter, plants draw their vitality down into their roots, while the trees offer resin for protection and repair. This intimate half-day workshop invites you to slow down, reconnect with the forest, and learn practical, medicinal skills.

You will:

  • Explore the gifts of roots such as burdock (Arctium lappa) and elecampane (Inula helenium).

  • Learn to respectfully gather and use pine resin (Pinus sylvestris).

  • Make and take home a pine resin salve—a protective, warming remedy for minor cuts and winter chests.

  • Taste seasonal root decoctions and pine needle tea.

  • Reflect together on boundaries, descent, and renewal.
